Hello /lg/ I am going to give you a short review of this Hidden Side set 70427 'Welcome to the Hidden Side'.
This is the second Hidden Side set I've purchased, and it is really fun to play with. First off, I absolutely love the design. This is an excellently made evil tree. I've been having a lot of fun making it chase minifigs around my table. It's unfortunate that they had to put the dumb AR gimmick in it because it would be perfect with a spooky bench opposite the streetlight. Sidenote - I'm glad Lego is putting these streetlight pieces into wider circulation.
Anyway, back to the set. The hands are fun to reposition and tweak, and are just the right height for grabbing minifigs. I understand that they used A-plates to join the side pieces to the main section for stability, but I think it works better with hinge places (I swapped out the medium-azure A-plates for regular black hinge plates after I took these pics).
The face comes with a black skelly torso and while the jaw can't close, it's nevertheless a play feature...
