Almost everytime he looks straight to the side there's always a gap there. That's because the artist clearly was drawing him to have a mouth. If you were drawing a mask, you'd draw the entire head first then draw the mask details afterwards. They drew this expecting people to have common sense ffs. You keep saying cherrypicking but that's a hell of a lot of panels I've already posted to be a mistake. It was obviously intentional.
