>>10766208Turns out that when you try this with “rival” fantasy brands they do worse, because their limited ankle forward range won't allow them any more than this.
And let's try with some other random figures (I admit I have cherrypicked Kasumi and Spiderwoman for the lols because of how hilariously pituful their forward ankle range is; Deadpool was more of a surprise).
This test is not as stupid as it might seem, because many action poses revolve around flexing your knees with your feet firmly planted on the ground and some of those figures are doing really bad at that.
You may argue that this is ultimately just a test of ankle range, and an issue of balance, not poseability, that keeping the spine vertical is an artificial limitation.
While the Mythic Legions figure hit a hard limit with its knees, those other figures still have range to crouch lower if they are allowed to balance better by bringing their weight forward, right?
Well, finally, I put those figures trying to balance them forward to see if they can squat lower. The more poseable figures improve quite a lot, indeed. Others have terrible hips and barely improve. Some were already at the lowest so I didn't bother repeating them. Harley is almost the same as the only difference is she can now exploit her mid-thigh joint.
