>>8642539Figures with limited articulation can still have an appeal. I’m old, so growing up almost every line was five or six POA and it didn’t hamper the fun that was had with them. MotU, Star Wars, Super Powers, TMNT, Aliens, Robocop, Predator were all great lines with great sculpts and were awesome to play with.
As an adult, I definitely prefer more articulation, but I don’t always need it. If a line is going for that vintage feel, like Legends of Cthulhu or kaiju sofubi figures, then they’d look out of place with modern articulation.
There are also keshi figures, which have little to no articulation, but are still fun to collect and mess around with.
