Haven't made much for videos because my partner is on vacation at home and I feel like a weirdo going downstairs away from stuff to record videos of me talking to myself haha. I generally only do videos when I'm home and he's not.
But with him home all this time we've spent a lot of time together including Lego. Usually I build a set with him in the room or ge builds with me in a room, but this past week we've had fun building sets together. He bought a Monkey Kid set after seeing photos and falling in love, and I thought I shared a photo of that last week. It's really cool, like two foot tall asian castle. Sadly, no fun play features like the one Ninjago Dragon Core temple I built, but the Monkey Kid architecture has the new castle fitting in with his small Ninjago collection.
I just the day before yesterday built this $3 Lego Architecture rip off Make-It Blocks set and it was a lot of fun. I've built two of the four I bought (pretty great deal for $3 a pop) and I plan to make a video on all four when I finish the other two, and then record smashing them all with my Godzilla action figure (the real fun part of getting them)
Not sure if/when we should build Lion Knight. Part of me wants to save it for Christmas just to have something cool that day incase it's another year of socks, plus me and partner will have several days off together. But also, part of me thinks we should rip the box open now and work on it through the weekend.
