There were some insane missteps like Arcee, but generally everything early on was fantastic. I still retain the one-shots and spotlights are some of the comics of the decade. Then Roberts and co realized that while comic book nerds and TF fans will rip their bad writing to shreds, girls on tumblr will lap up every bad descision as long as it: A. pisses off us, or B. has something vaguely gay in it. Thus instead of making good stories that work with characters people love, they catered to insane teen girls and the like, and everything started getting shittier and shittier until Dark Cybertron, when everything took a dive off a cliff. Now said old guard have stepped back because they're irrelevant to these people and the ones making the comics now are either said tumblrites from the mid 10s or old white dudes who think it's hip to be self-deprecating and subservient to a bunch of BL shippers.God damnit.
