These days the figures are largely identical in terms of detail and articulation (although the 6" ones have slightly different knees but that's it as far as I know?); it's just a question of when which version is getting released.

As for vehicles, that's a no-brainer: there are only a handful of 6" vehicles and you'll be waiting for years for Hasbro to release a new 6" vehicle, if they'll even ever do such a thing. 3.75" vehicles are plenty and many are more than big enough and the only real limit is your wallet.

Oh, and good luck getting a 6" Rancor.

I recall seeing a lot of those on the pegs of the local TRU and passing on basically all of them because I wasn't very familiar with the source material at the time (comics haven't been localized to my language since 2005 or so, when the ROTS comic adaptation hit the shelves, and at the time I wasn't familiar with...alternative online solutions involving no payment whatsoever). Picked up the Kir Kanos & Carnor Jax one, looked at 'em and thought, "shit man, these guys seem cool, we'll probably never ever get these again and I should buy this so that I don't end up regretting it...".

I didn't buy it and I ended up regretting it. And the same is true for every other comic two-pack.

What I would give for a chance to turn time back...

Pic related: passed on this massive hunk of plastic but was lucky enough to find a near complete one a while ago for a two-digit price.

Last year I came across some Black Series figures on clearance and bought a few to see what the hype is all about and whaddya know, I still don't get it. Sure, the faces look great and there's plenty of articulation, but it doesn't change the fact that they just feel awkwardly...big. Too big in my opinion.

Also pic related is something I don't think the 6" crowd's gonna get anytime soon, if ever. Though the same can probably be said for most vehicles. The Tantive IV playset makes me really happy to be a 3 3/4 collector!
