A better comparison would be with X-Shot Excel Fury 4 / X-Shot Ninja No Rez. Even I have problems with the Alpha Strike line as a whole,and I have to admit that the Fang is one of the better blasters to come from the line in terms of value. If you're going to slag on Alpha Strike, you need to make a stronger argument.

It doesn't mean throwing those out if the "target audience" doesn't care about them. If you're being objective, then you'll realize that regardless of whether it succeeds or fails, Alpha Strike is ultimately a bad proposition for everybody on either side of the debate, from Hasbro and its competitors on down to the end user.
