>>7878339>>7878581>Like shitty looking GI Joe figures except they cost several times more so retards like you will buy them. I don't own any acid rain figures. I am pointing them out as a comparable FIGURE. If you'd like to point out a cheaper, better painted, better quality figure with more accessories as a better example, I'd be happy to hear it.
>Which is more than what koto puts on their kits. I've made a fair number of hexa gear and other koto kits with pre-painted pieces. I've never had any that were sloppily or badly painted so I'm not sure what you're whining about. None of the Hexa gear kits have preapplied waterslides either; they're all prepainted if anything. If you're bitching about FAGs or Megami device having preapplied water slides, all of them come with a set of extra waterslide eyes at the very least so you can paint over the face and reapply the eyes if you so desire.
Also no, the price for Koto kits is higher than bandai because of two things.
1. They are a smaller company and thus can't make things in the same massive bulk that bandai can. Their IP's are also not as bullet proof as gundam.
2. They make extensive use of smaller runners and many different kinds and colors of plastic. Where Bandai would use stickers or just leave pieces uncolored, koto will make a tiny runner of 3 little parts instead. This means more work, more plastic colors, and more cost because of it.
Listen, if we were talking exclusively about the first season, with its weird soft plastic pieces and its relatively simple and bare bones figures I would give it to you that they were overpriced. But the second season is just far and away better. More pieces, better engineering, better plastic, all around improved. They are worth their price
