>>9254160I actually just got this guy in hand, and despite my awful potato pictures, he looks really nice. He has a subtle wash over most of his body that makes all his details really pop. The only parts that aren't actually painted are his cape and his weapon, which does look tacky imo. But he's a beast of a figure, far taller then I was expecting, pushing closer to 8" then 7.
Like, I figured Mandarin Spawn would be tall, as the original was. But he's also skinny so his overall shape doesn't make him look too massive. But Raven got bulk to him, he's just surprisingly beefy and his headsculpt and paint details are gorgeous. I have to go and dig out my original versions of these to and really compare them. It's still kind of mind boggling that here I am buying new, modernized, fully articulated versions of two of the coolest figures I've owned for nearly 20 years. The newer versions don't seem to have the same paint work or detail fidelity of the originals...but the newer Raven Spawn also isn't drawing blood from handling him. But now I need to go hunt down some of the others I've passed on, because so far these guys have all been fantastic.
