>>6483257Yes. I only really got into Star Wars when promo for The Force Awakens started. Before that, I had seen Revenge of the Sith in theaters and I didn't really remember anything besides the duel on Mustafar.
I've come to realize that nothing will ever be as good as the OT, and I even think that TFA and Rogue one were worse than the Prequel trilogy. I know I really can't have nostalgia for them because I only watched ROTS once in theaters when I was young and that was all the memory I have of Star Wars growing up. I know the sequel trilogy will most likely not ever be better than the original 6 movies, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't extremely excited for the Last Jedi despite all of the questionable design decisions. I love Luke and Rey as characters so at the very least I have the interaction between those two to look forward to.
My favorite character in all of Star Wars is Prequel Anakin, so I may just have shit taste. Oh well, I enjoy it.
