This iteration of Gendou was chosen so that Eva fans will either buy it hoping we get anything else later (if ever), or, nuGendou shelfwarms and thus GSC gets to say “Oh? But we thought you wanted more Eva figures? Guess the series isn’t worth making any more figmas for! lol!”
I will buy it. Call me a battered housewife for this series all you want, but I’m not going to lose what may be our only chance to get the ball rolling for Misato, Shinji, and Kaworu, even if they’re Rebuild versions.
