>>11421560>A sewing needle and cheap threadThe needle/thread thing is really not needed, especially for nozzles smaller than 0.3mm (that's just asking for damage), spraying 2 cups of lacquer thinner blasts everything away. If you really need to clean the nozzle, a long thin nail art brush soaked in thinner is a much safer option.
>bottle of Astroglide>significantly cheaperA small tube of Iwata branded lubricant ($9) lasts me more than a year given how little you actually need, so I don't think the cost is an issue here. At least the airbrush lubricant is guaranteed by the manufacturer not to mess with your paint.
