I think he just got stuck in limbo, the feeling i got at the time of mp primals release was that they intended him to scale with the existing thrilling 30 molds, they used them in promo picks, and then the other mp bw were finishing the set, then takara took a back seat on designing (no new molds/decos) and hasbro rebooted the beast gang in the mainline, which seems to have ended the bw mps
Rattrap still kinda works, scales well, decent articulation and workable show accuracy, but Rhinox was never big enough in height or bulk. I don't see any of the other season 1 characters getting mps, pretty much everyone else has a mainline toy or 3p now that's close enough but him, sadge
