>>9295093>I'm probably just showing my biases here, but a non-fighting, hippie-ass nature-lover is way more interesting as a character to me than endless fighters.Out of all the biases, that's a good one to have. You might like J-Decker, which helped me get over my "civvies/squishy bots are lame, leaders and fighting stuff only" thing. There's emergency and construction vehicles all working as cops in a largely episodic Brave show that gives all the bots decent characterization and spotlights throughout the show. It's all on youtube, it's good!
>if Animated's stoner-esque portrayal of Beachcomber had happenedDJW planned for an agonizing death scene for him from cosmic rust or other, but it thankfully got cut.
>because after this shoot, me and my gf went back to our cabin and got high as shit lolBooo. I support you but not what you're doing.
>>9295097>I too don’t like how quickly Furman axed him in RegenHe used a lot of unfinished plotpoints from his IDW run in RG1 instead of fully treating RG1 as just a sequel to Marvel, but he made up for it in his more recent Marvel prequel runs.
>the creatureA weird final foe, but even from just the face-value thing of simply Soundwave getting rid of a big danger, it was... sensible.
>a proper rivalHm, does every big guy for us have a rival?
>Omega Supreme vs Devastator in G1, vs Monstructor in IDW>Sky Lynx vs Predaking in G1>Defensor vs Bruticus in I guess a pure civvie vs pure military thing>Superion vs Menasor in a "factionally-uncharacteristic (air/car) teams" matchup>Computron vs Abominus in G1>cityformers are obviousI SWEAR there was an odd one out.. I guess Monstructor has no G1 counterpart, and the JG1 comboners might not have rivals.
>Black ZarakHaven't watched Masterforce yet, but a cosmic good vs a vaguely demonic evil (at least aesthetically) thing might work. Humble gold vs flashy and evil black and gold.
>>9295098It's a thing you can freely call oldfags when you don't like their opinions.
