>>8229688>88s for an 88mm-armed tonkCzech 'em. Anyways the panzer itself. Lots to love here, some to be a bit peeved by, and a little bit of hate too (kinda like my ex with some words switched around, I'll leave you to guess which). I love how big it is, especially sitting next to that hapless IV workhorse. The level of detail is great, even if a lot of it is down to stickers. While tricky to access the crew compartment in the front of the hull is spacious and the engine compartment with access hatch is useful for keeping this fussy feline in the fight.
Minor annoyances center mostly around the clutch this time: As noted with the IV their quality is slightly below Lego's overall, but on some specific pieces that can dip some. Calling out 2x2 round plates (boat studs) in particular for making that overhang above the treads more of a challenge than necessary. I also substituted a 2x4 plate for a 2x3 in the turret as resulted in an illegal overhang on the ball joint for the gun barrel, not sure how they overlooked it.
That little bit of hate mostly concerns the treads which suffer the same struggles as the IV did (they were "fun" to assemble as well). I also ended up having to deploy gorilla glue in a couple spots, once for a questionable build choice, the other for the muzzle brake part that just wouldn't stay in place.
Annoyances and hate aside this is a very nice tank, 8/8 would werf with my nebel.
