Look at the lazy artist they hired to draw the g2 comics. The badly assembled DVD for the netflix show that has assets from the last bionicle series in 2010 on it. They didn't care.

Lego has more confidence in selling Nexo powers than mask packs apparently. Oh Bionicle was ok, but we want that star wars money~ They said there would be three years but cut it off at two. No real explaination. They don't make these kind of decisions usually off the cuff, why decide halfway through the first year that you want it cancelled? Lego didn't even give it a fucking chance.
