I actually think these look pretty convincing as throwback shrunken heads....
That said, I always thought shrunken heads were lame! They weren't very good playsets as they pretty much only had room for one set piece, which was usually reserved for a version of the villain who was stuck in place. They essentially existed as collection filler, and I guess to supply some of the more unique Max poses.
