The old German SIMBA Toy company's Ursula doll used to have wires inside of her tentacles and the box would even say that the tentacles were poseable, however when the Disney Store acquired the molds from the German Simba Toy company they didn't include the wires in their version to save on cost and for safety reasons. I have the Designer Ursula/Ariel set, but since I never opened it I couldn't really tell you if those have wire. I can tell you that the new Singing doll that has real hair which uses the LE Designer face mold doesn't.
