A few early steps on Eduard's 1/72 SPAD XIII. Quite nice cockpit detail, and the fit's been good so far. Dry fitting makes me wonder a bit about the side and top piece joint though for the fuselage. Also note the moulding flaw where the machineguns will go, luckily the machineguns will go there so that should get hidden.
>>8090013Given all the available options for a what-if scenario you might be better off starting with what you want to build and then start planning the assassinations, civil wars, military upsets and so on to make it happen.
>>8090067Sanding it down or wiping it off with a suitable thinner might be needed. If it's to a very limited degree you might be able to even things out with a good wetcoat of varnish, though that can obviously be a quick path to a very thick layer of stuff on top of the plastic.
