I think getting into the !:12 scale, but nit just that, 1:12 with cloth, would be the best way to revive it. I don't think it needs to be super high end quality, either, just slightly better than Neca's cloth figures. Mezco is proof people will buy these cloth figures with burlap sack clothes. I think they can manage to keep costs down(they're a big company, and they own the license outright) charge $30-35 for a 6'' Joe with cloth and accessories. They can offer other outfits and weapons.
