>>7427861The best way to not have the background colour and background/object contrast fuck you over is, I've found, to go manual on the camera settings. I basically just had a look at what my camera set things to when it was left in auto and start tweaking form there. Apart form that it's just a cheapass tripod, a large piece of off-white paper for the background, and taking the photos in my kitchen where the lamps do a decent job of things. I did try to help it along with a mucho-lumen headlamp (diffused by putting on a white bathrobe and then pointing it at me), but while that did light things up a lot it didn't really seem to make for better pictures in the end so I couldn't be arsed with that here.
>>7427835Nothing really for those reasons, but not having all that much space to put things will probably tend to keep me away from heavy bombers (and I who also love size comparisons). Otherwise the kits I want to but can't build are those that simply don't exist.
