What you’re left with isn’t even as good as a green casting; the entire thing needs fill primed, sanded, painted. I’m doing one now as a gift and figure it’ll take a month to complete.
I like them bc I can create new parts quickly and iterate design. Platform for digital sculpture. I can’t see them as a commercial product; once you go commercial you’re better off casting in color.
