How good are America toys? Think about it. Everything the west has made all roots back to Japanese culture. Godzilla is a household name in the west yet is very culturally, Japanese, with Americans declaring Godzilla as American instead. Mario is an Italian Plumber from Brooklyn, but no different than the many caricatures Japan makes of other countries throughout the ages. And Power Rangers? Many claim it to be wholey American, when its just a Japanese children's show and relies so heavily on all the production material Japan has made because Saban knew nothing he made could ever capture the fantastical imagination of an average whitoid. Even Star Wars borrows many elements from Japanese cinema, yet many Eric Butts of the world cannot accept how much cultural appropriation takes place in the franchise. Lastly, what does TMNT owe its entire existence too? Ninjas, a very Japanese thing, with a Japanese Samurai as the main villain. While you might think of Japan as nonsensical drivel, much of their media has shaped America more than you might think.
