>>11071421The way you're describing ABS and built-in joints, this is pretty obviously done to retain sculpts and silhouettes where the character can't really lose that aesthetic (with the old Revoltech that were smaller could have those thick (relatively) limbs be at similar sizes to the joints, which let them look quite seamless. With how much bigger modern Revoltech are compared to those, I doubt the thick limbs would work that well with the current assortment of joints. Junk Warrior uses both a small joint along with these ABS style joints (you can see the cutout on the left arm which is also on the right, and also how the full bend is achieved with both joints), so maybe something like this could work, but there isn't really much in the way of thin places to fit in small joints on the Mazinger, so they'd probably have to opt for just the ABS. I'm definitely interested in seeing how Yamaguchi handles them.
