I'll be honest, I was already bored of G2 after the first wave. The skeletons looked super low effort to me, they looked unfinished. And yeah, I know they're undead skelies, but I want good toys. They tried to spruce shit up with new parts in wave 3, but the new parts fucking sucked. The recent wave of beasts were a cool idea, but again, they came out looking really unfinished. I just think Lego hit a wall, they'd expended everything they could do with CCBS within a reasonable budget, cause in order to do more original shit, they'd either have to increase parts count and cost, or produce a shit load of new parts. They need to take a break, recoup some costs, and produce a bunch of new shells and bone pieces. Basically reinvigorate the system with a whole batch of new parts.
