>>10097922If this is your first model kit, it will be very difficult. You should buy a $15 gundam kit to practice cutting the pieces off the sprues and dealing with the nub marks.
The glue you should be using is Tamiya extra thin cement (or equivalent). It is a solvent that will melt the plastic a little bit and fuse the pieces for a perfect seal that you can then sand down to remove the seam line (800 grit sanding sponges work best for this). Here's a guide on glue

Water slide decals are very challenging for beginners. You should definitely practice cutting them out, wetting them and sliding them off on a kit you don't care about. Faces/eyes can be difficult. Here's a guide on decals
