Now granted, the Nero is a slightly larger RD (and apparently the "real" Nero is taller than the Mk-II as well, though I don't think the Barzam should be this small), but I wasn't expecting such a dramatic difference.
Still a very nice looking pair of RDs, and I'm sure attaching the armor to the Mk-II will bulk it out a fair bit, so I've got that to look forward to.
>>5971439Apparently the best thing for that is something called shock oil, which is normally sold at hobby shops and used to lubricate RC car parts. Alternatively, liquid dish soap will accomplish a similar effect and is probably more accessible, heh, though you may need to reapply it now and then.
I've also heard that rubbing the ball against a dry bar of soap will help reduce friction at the joint as well.
