Bought the BlueBrixx Comet from Captain Future and, eh, let's say "everything would be great if it weren't so horrible".
The whole thing feels even more like something a MOC-maker would create in
Stud.io or LDD without ever building it with actual bricks than some of the stuff Lego shits out, with the highlights being the System-rod used to connect the entire fucking cockpit section to the main ship body and those studs with a rod on top on Simon that are only pushed in like a couple of micrometers into the clip because that connection doesn't actually fucking work.
The instructions were also sometimes a bitch to read, especially when it came to silver bricks that are more or less exactly the same color as grey ones in them - no shine, reflection or anything to make them stand out more.
The general part quality was surprisingly great except for two things:
One step requires those 1x2 and 1x3 arch pieces to interlock but someone forgot that Lego had to redesign those parts for it to work but BlueBrixx used the old ones that don't actually fit together properly.
And then there are the clip pieces... I already said it in /lg/ but that shit NEEDS to be made from a more flexible plastic and almost everything those rival brands and companies create seems to be made from the same standard ABS plastic with maybe one or two made from something different while Lego uses like a dozen different types for different parts and usages. I shouldn't get white stress marks on the inside of the clips from just connecting them ONCE.
