I can't bear to watch most everything from my childhood because of how poorly made it was, and this applies to all the original toys as well.
Very little holds up today and belongs in the trash, just like the live action TF movies too. All of them.
That said, it's shameful that the live action movies have had such horrible designs. At least shit from the 80s had some great designs, that are only now getting some justice in toy form.
On the same note, it's shameful the movies have had such shit stories, despite cartoons starting having better writing during the late 80s and 90s.
Hollywood movies in general have not changed much in quality since the 80s, when they started being sold on the action scenes alone. The only bright point on this is that it's lead to some great toys... but not for TFs. just other action movie toylines.
