RD is the Figuarts equivalent of Gundam figures in the $40.00-$120.00 range.
Universe is the Dragon Stars / Black Series / Amber Collection / Spartan Collection / Marvel Legends / Neca / McFarlane equivalent in the $20.00-$30.00 range.
I'd say all those lines are collector lines, with RD / Figuarts / Figma being higher quality admittedly but the other lines are still decent. I think most people who buy Universe would acknowledge it's a line for collectors but it feels half assed on certain points. They'd most likely be willing to pay a little more for all the accessories.
