The action figure business don't make them that much money (former CEO said it in his channel), I doubt they can lose that much money from one or two subline.s. Also RevoGeo did okay after the Geo joints. They clearly changed business model with removing outside distributors and increasing direct sales so probably not having that much losses in the future for revoltechs. That shift might cost them starting out though.
Kaiyodo does other stuff besides Revoltechs. I think big contributors to the losses are startup of their own model kits line ARTPLA, and ventures that need to sell tickets. Starting to produce model kits from nothing requires costly R&D and honestly I don't think the results were selling like hotcakes. They built a couple of new exhibits, a factory, places that needs people to visit to gain profit. Then what happened? COVID. Running WonFes during all that wasn't profitable either I assume. WonFes might not be profitable ever who knows they refuse to share details like that.
