Not just because the shorter, stouter limbs made them less articulate, but because for a long time they've *only* used that one set of limbs for every dwarf and only recently did they start using new torsos for them. Also their necks are weird and their hands are awful.
The new Dwarfs look great though, their designs look they're from an entirely different line of figures. While they won't get the same articulation range as the Savage Crucible Dwarf, they're certainly a massive improvement over previous releases.
