>>10341391I don't think you're quite understanding the issue. On a figure with no calf swivel, the wider a stance gets, the more the feet need to cock out to the side to stay planted flat on the ground. It looks awful, and is also bad for stability since the figure now cannot use the toe and heel to stabilize itself. That's why figures like this left in dynamic stances will often fall forward or backward eventually.
Sorry for the weird photo, I had to take this in a rush and had no available flat surface to actually stand him on. You can see what I mean with the feet cocked outwards though.
