>>11126426>the second year was, with it having "ruins/rocks" as theme and featuring only a single tiny piece of actual ruins in a store-exclusive setThey should have honestly make just a ...real CASTLE for that theme.
Why the fuck did they make weird normal looking space vehicles + steamroller looking stuff.
Eerie looking castle surround by storm clouds (since everything comes with lightning bolts and monster book turned into a storm cloud) and working as a big playset could be so much better.
>>11126426>This thing honeydicked nearly everyone into thinking that we'll get crazy stuff like mushroom villains or sea creatures in the next waves but instead ended up with what felt like a retread of the previous one.yeah...
I don't believe in conspiracy theories, but I think this was all someone's planned fault, an attack on the entire series.
They started so well and got a lot of fans. And then SUDDENLY they create shitty sets and change the ideology of the entire series.
Plus, instead of introducing new villains, they have the jester Jestro and the book again.
How could those who created such high-quality first 2 seasons of lava monsters screw up like that...
After the end of the lava arc, they could have, for example, made a filler arc with random fantasy monsters (like the short arc with scorpions and spiders in Legends of Chima), and then reintroduce Jestro and the Book. Then everyone would have missed them by now and would be happy to see them again. And the gargoyles wouldn't seem like "demons, only gray"
