Blue collar shit used to fly with midwits up until the last decade or so, because video games were still mostly for nerds up until the playstation era. Gen X was probably he last generation of kids who were ok with working a blue collar job moving shit around with other guys shooting the shit and breaking their back for hard cash. But Millenials onward grew up around the internet and resent being stuck working shit jobs when they know other people get paid to do almost nothing.
