Shit like Bachmann EZ-Track or Life-Like Power-Loc track is crap and only acceptable for cheapo starter sets from the 80s/90s, but Kato Unitrack is such an excellently designed system for both beginners and experts alike that I'm okay with it. In N scale's case it's also the only place you're gonna find single/double crossovers at a reasonable price.
