Doesn't seem to hold up as well in recent years considering some shit they pulled with the Origin line, making up new MSD variants of already existing suits (Act Zaku Kycilia's Forces vs normal Act Zaku, Gundam Local Type vs Aqua Gundam, Dom Type vs Zaku High Mobility Test Type), and circumstances like the Gunblastor being P-Bandai while the Gun-EZ was a regular release, but it generally holds true.
