Sergeant Major Thorne is an ordained priest and former member of the Swiss Guard who transferred to the Chaplain Corps after he was found to have talent as a gear pilot. He now serves alongside members of the Peacekeeping Forces active in the Middle East. His primary role is as a spiritual leader and guide for soldiers of any faith in the field as well as advising military executives and officers on matters of religion, ethics, morale, and morals. In combat he pilots a Bulkarm Lambda Jackal equipped with standard issue heavy submachine gun, plasma rod, and barricade shield as well as a revolver sidearm and 3-barrel multi-launcher capable of firing various grenade types. His Bulkarm also carries a scaled-up scripture for battlefield sermon purposes. Father Thorne is always ready to assist both on and off the battlefield with faith and steadfast devotion.
