>>11324576Funny you mentioned it! I have some info on Ninjago: Monstrosity:
The show is targeted at older fans, more in the teen demographic.
The story revolves around ninjas fighting ancient monsters, and the series is set before the events of Dragons Rising.
Monstrosity will release parallel to Dragons Rising, with plans for three seasons. It introduces a new villain faction, but you won’t see more sets until December or January.
The show is meant to tie into the final season of Dragons Rising.
It’s essentially Ninjago meets Universal Monsters, Kaiju, and cryptids.
The trailer will drop after Dragons Rising Season 3, and the show will premiere in June with 8 episodes on Netflix.
As for the summer sets, none of the villains will be featured, but one of the monsters—a sea serpent—will appear. More Monstrosity sets will come in December 2025 or January 2026, and those will feature the villains. This is part of LEGO's long-term plans for Ninjago.
