That said, I can't imagine them extensively glossing up the whole figure to the point of glazing it head to toe, that'd just be a QC nightmare which is probably for the better.

As it is, it's still a lot more effort as per their usual movie offerings. The improved articulation, large size and actually decent proportions show just that. Hell it's a lot more accurate than their last movie Venom offering (which still looked cool all things considered).
