Sold a small stack of beat up tmnt comics I got at a yardsale. Gave like 11 12 dollars for the stack. Was about 4 lbs of comics. Sold them to someone in Cali for $27 with $17 shipping. They paid almost 4x as much as I did. I only doubled my money. USPS got more money out of the deal than I did.
And I only made any money because I was smart and put them in in a flat rate box. Cost to ship them by weight would have been $24.
Ten years ago I'd made $20 off of this. Maybe 25. When ebay first started, priority mail was like $4.
