It really is a bad movie, then factor in killing off all the fan favorites, all the shitty toys, and the reaction from disney and the crew, its a recipe for salt taffy that is hard to chew and harder to swallow. Forget making episode one look good, these disney ones make the damned ewok movies look like brilliant masterpieces in comparison.
I didnt care for the last jedi movie. It felt like it was rushed and they wrote the script as they went, and it feels like it drags on for way too long. I dont like the new movies, as they all feel like that, and you can tell there is no real central planning beyond make x number of movies, sell everything with a star wars logo on it. Even the media tie ins are lame unlike say the special editions and shadows if the empire or the numerous games tied into the prequels.
Fuck all the new stuff. Im going to focus on what I want from the older releases. For others, its an excuse to give up a bad habit of ovsessively collecting this crap for so long. So essentially you have failed movies, retards that make them insults fans, all the attempts to build hype have bombed, the toys really suck hard, and the fans that made star wars part of their persona for years are now having a personality crisis.
