Maybe it did originate from Hong Kong, I won't disbute that because I don't know about the origins of slang, but it isn't a new word that "is almost impossible to find on English speaking sites".

Hell if you want an out of 4chan example Urban Dictionaries listing for the phrase with that context was made in 2019.
