Alcohol will work 50% of the time, but if its on soft rubber like rubber legs or the face good luck as those rubbers absorbs ink like sponges, and never lets go of it.
Alcohol can also majorly mess up your dolls by remove paint off of some dolls. If you use alcohol on Disney Store painted underwear the paint will come off. If you use alcohol on stickers that may be on earrings the whole design will come off. I've had this happen to me personally, so be careful.
