>explain to me the appeal jojoEveryone is different but I got hooked through the multi-generational story of the protagonists for Parts 1-8 and how each connect with each other due to bloodlines and old enemies, granted Part 7-8 is a new universe but the connections to older parts can be seen. Also the Artstyle is a standout to me with the evolution of Fist of the North Star origins to the modern style of Part 8, not even mentioning the influence of those really bizarre runway fashion models and the fashion industry in general with greek statuesque bodies and poses thrown in. It's a really odd combination of things that Araki has made to make Jojo it's own thing. Plus the infamous over the top moments like Dio dropping a steam roller on his enemies. Though I think the introduction of "Stands" really push Jojo over the edge with the ability to make all sorts of interesting and crazy fight scenarios and outcomes versus Part 1&2's ripple abilities.
