>>9604365>I like that wood furniture and you could probably make a good amount selling it on etsyI thought about it and maybe I could one day? I just feel like it's really niche and the chairs are too basic for that much of a response. Also with some of the first tables I made the legs were really weak relying on just a glued butt joint, so I still have room to improve/learn
Also when I made them I had a lot of fun because it was just for me, so I didn't really take into account labor costs. Not sure if making it into a mini business would take all the fun out of it
pic related is the set I made for thanksgiving here
>>9603179 before adding a few coats of poly. Haven't really had time for new projects with a lot of life events going on now but hopefully that changes in the near future. Maybe some new chairs, experimenting with staining the wood, painting like with this example I found online, etc.
>>9604908>my idea right now is to buy one of those glass house lanterns make the insides into cozy living roomsI feel like those might be difficult to work with if it's Calico Critters due to how bulky they can be. I'd suggest going to the local craft store to physically handle the lanterns or other containers they have, it really helps with the creative process when trying to picture what you can fill it up with. It'll give you a better idea of what you can work with in my opinion.
Also it's nice to have my work recognizes on this board, even though it's amateur at best ha ha so thank you
