>>6757998You're not wrong at all. The worst is that they even make sure characters in Animated have random "details" on them that exist solely to look a belt with pouches or soles of a boot. Coupled with the "isn't it quirky and characterful" human-like details of beards, headphones, sunglasses... never mind things like characters like Blitzwing who are purposefully designed to look like a guy in a particular kind of suit.
I think the only time Transformers did that was G1's Sixturbo (he's a police car! Give him a little hat and tie!)... and the movies, which just go "draw a tech greeble million part face of a celebrity"
