Because that has always been their thing--Yamaguchi's stylization and reimaginings have always sort of driven the line. Everyone knows you don't buy Revoltechs for accuracy, you buy them for hyper-dynamic proportions and posing ability. I mean, Ingrams never posed like this in the source material--which is why I'm so glad Yamaguchi exists. He gives us an interesting alternate take while everyone else races to have the most accurate figure.
Why does Figma only go for fotm (Injustice, Ninja Batman)?
Because Figma DOES fotm. That's been their schtick for a long time and it's not gonna change now. They typically chase what's popular, what's gonna make money. Why else do you think they largely just make moeblobs while ignoring legendary older anime?
