>Location
On top of a hill, in the middle of nowhere.
>Number of years (or months) on /toy/
10 years. Dear god, I’ve wasted my life.
>Favorite toy
It was tough to single out one specific toy, and even though I don’t play with it any more because it’s so old and fragile, probably my Max Factory BFC Guyver 1.
>Favorite toyline(s)
Operating currently? DX Chogokin, Robot Damashii, Hi-Metal R, Storm Collectibles.
>What toyline do you think is overrated
SH Figuarts, I feel like they went off the boil at least five years ago.
>What toyline do you think is underrated
Mafex, granted I’ve had some disasters from them in the early days but the last few figures I’ve had outstrip anything from SHF in recent years.
>Your favorite toy gimmick
Flip a coin between well-done electronics or glow in the dark finishes.
>What toy do you own that nobody else on /toy/ owns
An unproduced Takara World’s Smallest Transformers test shot.
>Most you've ever spent on a toy
I think the 1/6 Kaneda’s bike and matching Kaneda figure is the most I’ve ever laid out in one go.
>How can we improve current /toy/
Forcibly remove Subjectanon, Necanon, the Transformers spammer, and the Retroblasting spammer.
What is your biggest u knoe
Modern Bubblegum Crisis figures and Dragonball Z SHF variants of the characters in their casual fits.
>BONUS ROUND
>Imports or domestic
Imports. Very few domestic companies do anything that either impresses me or falls within my tastes.
>Articulation or sculpt
Depends on the toy, ideally I like a balance but really well-designed and innovative articulation always pushes the right buttons for me.
>Expensive ($500+) or cheap ($-30)
Both. Expensive stuff doesn’t tend to be fun to play with, so I keep a sideline going of Third-Party Legends and fun novelties like Beastbox that make for good desk toys.
